Pierangelo Moro, founder of the academy
An Italian designer and architect who has been speaking the language of business about interiors and architecture for 30 years. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Milan and from the Polytechnic University of Helsinki. Since 1995, Pierangelo Moro has designed projects for Italian and Finnish multinational companies such as Outokumpu, UPM-Kymmene and Nokia, as well as large private residences, commercial buildings and public facilities for the Italian government.
Since 2008 he has worked with Russian clients; among his most notable projects in Russia are the Bosco Casa boutique in the Petrovsky Passage in Moscow, the «General Sokolov's Dacha» boutique hotel on the Black Sea, Hurston House on Stoke Road in London, and the TsUM building in Krasnodar.

From 2022 to 2024, Pierangelo Moro held the position of senior lecturer at the School of Design of the HSE University (Higher School of Economics) in Moscow, where he taught a course on business processes in design.

What participants say
«I went to the seminar convinced that my professional experience made it unnecessary, and I changed my mind during the talk itself: I began to understand what had been missing in my work.»

«I attended a seminar by the architect Pierangelo Moro on 11 December 2025 in Moscow. Before that I did not know who he was. Confident in my professional experience, I thought the event would add nothing useful to my work. As I listened, I changed my mind. I began to understand what I had been missing and what I needed in my work. Above all, clear objectives. Focusing my abilities on high-value activities and refining a method to measure my progress regularly. I understood that large projects, with all their complexity, are better managed in small constant daily steps, analysing the results so as to correct course. Doing things properly, setting priorities so as to finish the work even with few resources at hand. I understood that sound project management and resource plans supported by digital tools improve results and let you measure progress with specific metrics. I left the seminar satisfied and determined to change my working habits, for greater efficiency and effectiveness and with a clear awareness of the objectives to be reached.»
Demetrio Francesco Serranò

«The course was genuinely useful, because this kind of formal knowledge — project structure, contracts — is rarely taught at university.»

«The course was demanding (but not too much!), rich, with plenty of theory and practice. What I liked is that you, as a teacher, always kept our attention during the lectures: you explained and asked questions straight away, pushing us to analyse everything we were being given. Every lecture was very lively. The course was genuinely useful, because this kind of formal knowledge — project structure, contracts and so on — is rarely taught at university.»
Evgenia Sinitsyna
student at HSE Art and Design School
«I liked the way the material is presented: everything is structured, explained from the simple to the complex and shown through examples.»

«I watched the zero module. Pierangelo — bravo! Lectures in Russian — impressive! I liked the way the information is delivered and the style: everything is structured, explained from the simple to the complex, all shown through examples. I am sure that with Pierangelo's thirty years of experience there is a great deal to share, both with students and with professionals. The algorithm is built for different professional levels, and that makes it easier to choose which module to take. Overall: not boring, substantial, clear, useful!»
